Materials
Nickel Alloys - Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy X, Hastelloy C22, Inconel 600, Monel 400
Porous Materials Available
Chand Eisenmann Metallurgical manufactures a wide variety of porous sintered metal products utilizing Powder Metallurgy techniques to form a rigid, permeable structure with a network of sintered powder particles and interconnected pore channels. Porous sintered metal materials, such as Bronze, 316LSS, Nickel Based Alloys and Titanium, are normally sintered to densities between 25-85% of theoretical mean density (TMD).
Porous 316LSS and Bronze components are normally specified for most applications since these materials are the most economical. Porous materials such as Titanium, Nickel, Hastelloy , Monel and Inconel are recommended for more aggressive environments, but are typically 2-5 times the cost of 316LSS and Bronze.
